Discoveries to be made at the August Market
The market is upon us again - how quickly a month has passed! Stirchley doesn't stand still and this is reflected in our line up of stall holders. Don't worry, the majority of your old favourites are still with us - apart from a couple of holiday clashes - and we have been able to accommodate lots more local arts and crafts producers due to the kind loan of Friends of Cotteridge Park's marquee.In August we are welcoming the following creative people:Carla Smith – Illustrations, Jess Mikhail – Illustrations, Lizz Lunney - Illustrations and Comics, Lucy Sobrero – Arts and Crafts, Rusty Pit Wheel – Photography, Sonya Williams – Painted Glassware, Stirchley Thought Exchange – Creative Approaches to Stirchley, Sue Mason-Burns – Jewellery and Traces of Rock – Fair Trade T-shirtsAs Balti Cottage are unable to make it along due to Ramadan, Kings Heath's Soul Food Project will be providing the hot food tomorrow and Stirchley Working Men's Club will be filling in for Jo's Coffee to Go (she's on holiday) with hot drinks and maybe even something stronger if you fancy it.We also have something totally new - Cameron Antiques are going to bring some of their exciting and unique items along for your perusal.Loaf, South Birmingham Food Co-op, Birmingham Bike Foundry, Stirchley Happenings, Martineau Gardens, Artisan Preserves, Barrow Boy, Frost and Snow and the community stall will all be reappearing - we hope you will to!
