Volunteers Needed/New Market Flyer

July's Stirchley Community Market is under two weeks away, and we'll soon be taking delivery of a fair few bundles of our new flyer, designed and illustrated by Kerry Leslie.We really want to be able to spread the message across Stirchley and beyond, and lots of people have previously expressed interest in helping us out, so we're planning a mass flyering shindig this Monday, 24th June, where we'll pair up our volunteers and send them down the not-so-mean streets of Stirchley.We'll meet at the British Oak at 8pm, head off for an hour, and then meet back for a celebratory ale/half/J2O in the Oak at 9pm.As always, SCM are grateful to a local enterprise for partnering up with us on t'other side of the flyer, and this time we're happy to have the Laughing Sole on the flip-side. Although now spreading their wings across the West Midlands, the Laughing Sole have traditionally had a semi-symbiotic link with us, as their comedy event takes place on the first Tuesday of the month, in the British Oak, right after the end of the market.If you can't make it on Monday, but have a burning desire to deliver leaflets, or know of a good place to leave a bundle, then let us know on stirchleycommunitymarket@yahoo.co.uk.
