Reminder for Saturday's market
We’re back at Stirchley Baths *THIS* Saturday 17 June from 10am-3pm, for the second of our quarterly seasonal markets for 2023. We've had some changes to the line-up owing to a few last minute cancellations - s please take a look below at who has stepped in from our waiting list.
AND WE WILL SEE YOU THERE! :)
Community stalls this market:
- Forever Lida - raising funds for Ukraine and collecting humanitarian aid, details in this post.
- Stirchley Art Room CIC - promoting activities and giving local artists an opportunity to sell their work
- Leaf Creative Arts CIC - promoting activities and selling merch to fundraise for their work in the community.
Community activity:
- Stirchley History Group - running heritage tours of the Stirchley Baths building, sign up at their stall
- Ampersand Projects - a CIC with community growing packs and a little growing activity
- Isherwood & Co flowers and house plants - running a house plant 101.
First timers - HELLO! These stalls are brand new to Stirchley Community Market:
- Blissful Batter - baked treats and cakes by Gail
- Debra Nelson - illustrated cards and prints (also the illustrator/designer for our new summer posters!)
- Wxwrks Candles - vegan and cruelty-free candles
- UgneMakes - woodworking and design by Ugne Maria
- From Brum With Love - curated gift boxes of products from Brum's indie makers
- The Jam Lab - homemade jams with unique combinations of flavours
- Forij - sustainable homeware and local gifts.
And not forgetting the return of:
- Infinity Brewery Co - a Brummie nanobrewery (including bevs to drink while you shop!) Chris is also a SCM volunteer
- Mirta Vargas Ceramics - Selly Oak based ceramicist
- Stirchley Print Works - artist run print studio, find out about upcoming courses and buy prints from the co-op members
- Queen of Camellias - with their organic, home made teas and blends
Toasted and Buena Onda are our incredible street food traders - outside in the courtyard (by the car park)
Plus Verbena Kitchen is running the cafe serving hot drinks and snacks from the hatch into the main hall.
Stirchley Library is open next door too – and it is StoryTots morning so come afterwards.
